Community Outreach Programme 

COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMME provides comprehensive rehabilitation services to persons with intellectual disabilities in the entire Chandigarh (U.T) who are unable to avail of these services at GRIID due to various reasons.

Every facility including evaluation, therapies, disability assessment and certification is done at the community level so that Persons with intellectual disabilities at the various age ranges and IQ level will be benefited and can avail of the services at their remote locations.

Community Outreach Program is not only providing therapeutic interventions but special education services are also being provided.

It accelerates awareness and reducing the occurrence of disability by making people aware.

GRIID is also liaisoning and networking with various stakeholders for the effective implementation and utilization of existing resources for the community rehabilitation of persons with intellectual disabilities at their remote areas like various Anaganwari centres at Khuda Lahora, Bapudham Colony, Kishangarh, Khajheri, Manimajra, Maloya, Burail, Khuda Jassu, Behlana, Makhanmajra, Kaimbwala, Palsora, Maulijagran, Mauli jagran complex, Indira Colony,Dadu majra, Hallo Majra, Ramdarbar, Dhanas, Maloya, Modern Complex-Manimajra, Raipur-Khurd
